TRAINING WEDNESDAY 5 TO 6PM FREE 🏃🏃‍♀️WORKING BEE SAT 9 TO 12 👏Congratulations to some of our athletes who competed this week in school Athletics. As we head into Districts we'd love to hear how our athletes do. Just message page with pic and efforts.Congratulations Jarrod Gordon smashed his discus PB with 20.5M to take 1st in Scarborough state school sports and a place in districts team and new PB in shotput of 6.62 got him 3rd and also districts spot. 🎉Well done to Skye Presland-Tack and Daniel Harlow winning their 400m races AND breaking the school record. Ella, Jordanna and Brooke all put in a great 400m effort too. Congratulations to Jordanna and Daniel who took out the 100 and 200 doubles AND both went on to win the school Gift race. Congratulations to Brooke Musson and Zobair who are also off to Districts- Brooke for 100 and 400m, and Zobair for long jump, shot put, discus, 100m and won gold in shot put. Congratulations to our u14s Skye Presland-Tack achieving a fantastic Personal Best to take out 4th place in the u14 3k and our coach Jasmine-Rose just short of a PB but taking out 1st place in the u20 10km Queensland Road Walking Championships yesterday. Sign-on isn't far away. Online link opens early August, then on either 6th, 13th, or 14th August come to club house to collect new age badges, and if you're a new athlete bring birth certificate or proof of age and identification. Fairplay voucher users bring those down too. On 14th we have our postponed break up party and carnival rides.Orientation 27th Aug. 1st Friday night of competition Fri 3rd September. At Redcliffe Little Athletics we cater for u6 to u17s and we DO NOT cater for Tiny Tots. Let's make 2021/22 season amazing.
