We are proud to be the first established Little Athletics Centre in Queensland
The concept of Little Athletics originated in Victoria during the early 1960’s, aimed at developing skills for children too young for senior athletics. Co-founder Alan Triscott’s idea in 1973, to bring Little Athletics to Queensland, began with several public meetings in Brisbane. As a result of these meetings, Redcliffe Little Athletics was established in October 1973.

Training
We are currently seeking a Coaching Officer who would like to co-ordinate our Coaching Program and availability of coaching days. If this is something you would be interested in please contact us.
Competition Nights
We compete every Friday night (even through the school holidays). Warm ups from 5:45pm with first events starting at 6:00pm. First official compeition night will be 5th September 2025.
We’re a Play On! provider!
When a round is open, parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $200 for their child, which can be used towards sport and active recreation membership, registration, or participation fees. There is a limit of 1 voucher per child per calendar year.
