Congratulations to athletes ( u9 Chrysler, u10 Emma, u13s Taisha, Dan n Zobair) and opens Amber and Jasmine-Rose, who competed at LAQ Spring carnival in Bundaberg yesterday. A great and VERY LONG day where you all did your absolute bests, tried new events, saw some PBs, some medals, met new friends, socialised, had fun and displayed brilliant sportsmanship. For those heading to Bundaberg this weekend. Good luck and have fun.The Coles Spring Carnival is being held this Saturday in Bundaberg. If you have nominated, here are a few things you’ll need to know for the Carnival:

📸 PHOTOS: the official photographer for the competition is Medal Shots and they will be taking lots of great action and presentation photos throughout the day. You can view these photos via their website: www.medalshotsphotos.com/

✅ COVID SAFETY: this event will be operating under a COVID Safe Industry Plan and we will have COVID Safety Officers at the event. It is a requirement that all persons attending the event MUST check in when they arrive, using the check in code that will be located around the grounds. ↔️ SOCIAL DISTANCING: anyone attending the Carnival must adhere to social distancing guidelines.

⛱ TENTS: will be permitted around the outside of the arena. Tent space is offered on a first in basis. Please ensure that tents are erected at least 1.5m from other tents and ensure that social distancing guidelines are followed for those under the tents. As an example, if you have a 3x3m tent, a maximum of four people are allowed to be under it.

❌ If you are experiencing any signs of illness, or do not have a need to be at the Carnival, we ask that you please refrain from attending.
